In my travels across the country doing concert ministry, I’ve had the privilege of meeting many Christian “artists” ranging from national names to local independents. Very few that I’ve met know the “stuff” of life like Marty Miller. I’ve known Marty for nearly twelve years. If there’s one word to describe him and his passion for ministry, it would be “faithfulness”. His music comes from a heart committed to Christ and resonates the character of a man who has endured more trials and tribulations than most would care to imagine. As one tempered by the refiners fire, I trust you’ll find Marty to be refreshing source of spiritual encouragement.

It was a delight having you at our Church recently. Everyone in attendance spoke so enthusiastically about your unique sound and strong lyrics. In fact, you received a thunderous applause from those who heard you when I reminded our congregation of the blessing some of them missed who couldn’t make the concert. Thank you for ministering to us and for Christ. It was a wonderful experience and we’re looking forward to having you come again. God bless.

The folks at Grace were very touched not only by the wonderful and varied music, which you brought to the concert, but by your personal witness of faith. There was no doubt that Christ has deeply touched your life and because of it the music you present is not work but a loving response to the Christ who has redeemed you and the Spirit who sustains you. Thank you for coming to our congregation and sharing your own music and the music of others. The concert was definitely an Easter Season highlight for our congregation. We are eager to have you return very soon.

I was truly blessed and challenged not only with your songs, but also with your words. On a cold and blustery winter evening, you helped draw us close to the warm heart of God, and reminded us of his faithfulness and grace. Through a variety of musical styles, we were also challenged to take what we have received and share it with the people around us. I especially appreciated your willingness to be vulnerable and to share some of the struggles you deal with in your own life and on the job--I don't think there was a person there who couldn't relate! Many of the folks who were there that evening are used to a more formal worship style--could you tell?!?--but it is a good thing to be drawn out of our comfort zones, and you did that very effectively. Thank you so much for allowing God to use you to bless us. We wish you all the best, and hope you will consider coming again sometime! With Christian love and appreciation,

Marty Miller presented a concert last weekend for the members of our congregation. Marty is an extremely talented musician who shares his faith through his compositions in a spirit which resonates from his heart and out of his love for our Lord. Marty's music was authentic and spoke to the hearts of those in attendance. Even though the program was presented as a concert, it was truly a time of worship filled with the presence of God's Holy Spirit. Through our time together, those in attendance were led toward a deeper relationship with
Christ, our Savior. Without reservation, I commend to any congregation to consider including this ministry of music as part of their family programs. It is truly a blessing.

It was a great blessing to have Marty Miller minister to us at Sherman Church of the Nazarene. His genuine testimony of love for Jesus and for the grace that has been afforded him are obvious in his songs, his words shared and his presentation. Marty came with a heart to serve and a willing spirit at a gracious cost to us. I am thankful for men like Marty Miller who have exceptional musical gifts and desire to use them as a means of sharing the good news with others and encouraging Christians to keep on being faithful to God. I hope to have him come again in the near future.

I am so grateful for that last email announcing March 25 was available for booking. You were such a blessing to us, a breath of fresh air to our congregation. It was fully enjoyed by all ages, a reminder to “Worship in our times of Wilderness”. Your love for the Lord and your commitment to increase His kingdom comes through your music and testimony. Thank you so very much for what you do. I pray that we can see you again in a joint church revival type setting in our community. I pray that God will pour out many blessings on you, your family, and your ministry. Marty, you will remain in our prayers. Please keep in touch with us if there is anything that we can do for you.

The Gathering, a United Methodist Church in Harrison, Michigan, launched weekly worship celebrations on April 9, 2006. Marty Miller has been instrumental in more ways than one for The Gathering. In our initial weeks as a worshiping church in 2006 Marty led worship for us and his music served to usher our people into the presence of God each Sunday. And he has returned several times to share his gift. Marty is always contemporary to the setting in which he ministers whether in doors or out of doors he is effective and faithful in every way. Marty's music communicates God's grace and compassion as people listen and sing along. We give you our highest recommendation for Marty. God will bless you through this vessel of peace.

If you are looking for a spiritually delightful musical time, you will find it in the music and words of Marty Miller. We have had Marty to our small church in Chicago twice now and both times he has played to varied audiences - both in size and diversity - and has won their spirits. Whether Marty is playing familiar praise songs or songs of his own writing he does so with a spiritual integrity you can't miss. Marty's love for the Lord is obvious and he is on our calendar again for next year!

Our church has been inviting Christian musicians to lead our Sunday worship once a month for several years. Of all the musicians, I can easily say Marty Miller has been one of my very favorites. And the feedback I've received from members of my church has been overwhelming. There's a standard "praise and worship" sound that's common among church musicians these days, but Marty brings a different and unique style to his music that's all his own. While singing the music he's written, Marty invites the congregation to join in his faith journey -- the blessings and the struggles, the triumphs and the trials, the joys and the sorrows. By sharing so deeply and personally from his own walk with the Lord, he reveals the spiritual growth he has experienced, and shows ways that others may grow in their own relationship with Christ. The result is never a performance for the sake of entertaining the crowd, but rather a true worship experience where Marty manages to use his musical gifts and talents to direct the congregation's focus well beyond himself and toward our God.

We greatly enjoyed the ministry of Marty Miller. He provided a creative, Christ-centered opportunity for our church family to worship both through his renditions of popular worship songs and vocal solos. I especially appreciated his attention to our church family's preferences and customized a morning that was engaging for people of all ages.

Marty Miller has ministered at our church with his music. We found that he has a variety of sounds, and that his music is varied and refreshing. He led us in worship. It was not a performance; it was worship as he mixed solos with congregational choruses. His music and his words all aided and enhanced the worship atmosphere. We enjoyed Marty Miller and his music very much.

Marty’s music style is a nice mix of contemporary styles. This worked well, and everyone found something to enjoy. We enjoyed the fact that he writes many of the songs he sings, so they are expressions from the heart. The congregation of Jubilee also enjoyed Marty’s sense of humor and his candor when sharing about his life and walk with the Lord. I am pleased to recommend him to you.

Just a note to say again, how much we appreciated your ministry to us on September 18th. It was an uplifting start to our new ministry year! I have gotten many comments on how much people enjoyed the concert...and they really want to add "Sing to the King" to our worship repertoire. :) Thanks again for coming, Marty. May God bless you in your ministry!

Marty Miller gave of his heart and life through song. He spoke to our people through original music and familiar music sung in the “Marty” style. Marty was easy to work with and brought spiritual impact as well as vocal and instrumental talent. God is using Marty to bring high quality Christian music to places and people who need to hear the Word in song and testimony. I recommend Marty to your congregation.

Greetings in the powerful name of Jesus! I just wanted to send a note to express my appreciation to you for coming to Marquette. Brothers and Sisters in Christ, It is with great pleasure that I commend to you the music ministry of Marty Miller. His musical talents and warm, friendly spirit enable him to convey the gospel message in some powerful ways. His presentation attempts to involve the crowd by inviting them to sing along some fairly familiar tunes. His style of music is contemporary, but not so loud nor upbeat to distract anyone. There were many who commented that the music was great along with the message. I highly recommend that you consider letting Marty’s ministry cross paths with your ministry for a dynamic presentation of the gospel message. In Christ,

Marty's music was not only easy to listen to but easy to identify with. He has a very full sound and works hard to interact and meet the listeners in their own lives and circumstances. I would heartily recommend his ministry and we are working to book him again after our first experience.

Dear Marty, Thank you for your ministry during our community picnic, I know your message was heard and I very much loved your music and testimony. May your ministry be blessed to overflowing as you continue to reach out to others. The picnic was a very unusual setting and though the people were not right in front of you your words were heard. Your talent is evident in your beautiful music; I liked your original songs and cannot wait to hear from you again. We will be scheduling another concert.

I met Marty over the Internet by way of an intervention from God. I was having a pity party in my office one morning because I was upset from the news of my wife's condition. She had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer at stage 3 and she started Chemo treatments within 3 weeks and then she was going to face surgery. Well the Lord had given me some words for a new song I was working on, and those words were the very same words that came over my E-mail from Marty Miller, that "When The Waters Get High", "You Don't Have To Go At It Alone". I listened to his demo and the Lord used that demo in my life in a very powerful way and I immediately got on the E-mail and got acquainted with Marty. Our church here at "Lighthouse Community Church" in Brownstown, Michigan, appreciated Marty's ministry among us and we would recommend him to any church. He has a great ability to bring meaning to his songs. You'll be glad you invited him and his wife to minister to you and your church.

Marty, I am still receiving compliments about the Coffeehouse/Concert and how it impacted visitors there. The Holy Spirit was definitely at work. Your ministry meant so much to all there. All are still talking about your lyrics and music as well as your musical performing gifts! Some of the event visitors have afterwards attended our "Joyful Noise" service. You helped accomplish what we had prayed for! I look forward to having you back in the future! God's Blessings to you and your ministry! Please share my comments with whomever you wish. I would be more than happy to praise your ministry with any that are considering you for their events! God Bless!

Wow, the Holy Spirit can even use the Internet and email to accomplish God’s will and purpose! We are still amazed by the work of the Holy Spirit in bringing you to Baroda, Michigan. So, on behalf of everyone at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Baroda, I want to thank you for your expression of deep faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and for your response to God’s particular gift of music and testimony. Your songs were not only inspirational, with a solid message of God’s unconditional love and grace, but your ministry in music and personal testimony were humorous and captivating for young and old alike. We were blessed by your presence with us, and we are looking forward to you return visit next year, for the Second Annual Marty Miller Concert. In the meantime, may the Holy Spirit continue to work in and through your ministry.

Thank you so much for joining us on two occasions now, to share the Word through your music. God has blessed you with a voice and an ability to write music that makes the message very clear, enjoyable and entertaining all at once. In both our outside service and at our Coffee House, I appreciated your rapport with the audience. Because of your ability to connect with them, they were responsive to your testimony and your message in song. Thank you for being faithful to the Word of God. We trust that God will continue to give you a passion for sharing the Gospel through music and with the voice He has blessed you with. I would highly recommend your ministry to any organization wishing to share the Word through quality music. Hopefully, we too will have further opportunity to use your ministry some day soon. God bless you as you continue to serve Him.
